Insurance Company (UK):
B&Ti together with JMR, assisted Sapiens UK in the data migration
of six disparate systems and four million policies from an ICL to
an IBM platform. With a value of around £1-million, the project
was undertaken in South Africa over a period of 18 months by accessing
two mainframe systems in the UK and Ireland. The fixed price contract
was completed within time and budget.
Pensions Customer (South Africa)
This project involved migrating an IBM mainframe-based system to
an IBM iSeries(AS400) platform. The project was completed within
nine months.
Housing Company (South Africa)
This system manages properties for a housing company that is owned
by all major banks and the South African Government. The project
involved a complete re-engineering of the company’s business
processes. The new system was rolled out using the Microsoft .NET
platform. The system was developed using an object orientated approach.
Retail Market Research Company (South Africa)
Although outside of the financial services industry, B&Ti leveraged
its experiences to design and develop a unique market research system
which collates customer behavioural data within a retail shopping
environment to provide manufacturers and retail chain managers with
a complete business intelligence capability of all activities within
a shop from both a product and shop layout point of view.
Banking Group (South Africa)
B&Ti analyzed an integrated customer problem management system
which enabled a large international banking group to employ a single
customer problem database across the group. This system is being
integrated with the CRM systems at the various customer contact
points, and is being implemented on an IBM Websphere server environment
with the database residing on the group's mainframe.
