Mr. H Charles Matticks commenced his professional career in 1981 in personnel management and manpower. He moved into IT in 1983 and completed his IT training with South African Airways. In 1983 he started a long and prosperous career with Standard Bank of South Africa which lasted for 16 years.
He was introduced into IT credit card processing, mortgage services, data warehousing, branch delivery and credit management systems before moving into project management and later senior management positions. During this time he successfully delivered offshore outsourced projects.
During the past few years he has been formalising a strategy for offshore outsourcing to South Africa as well as successfully delivering offshore outsourced projects.
He sits on various committees and is also a director of the South African Electro-technical Export council. He also is on the board of directors of two non IT related companies.
